A one-page comic: The Creak
The idea came to me while walking my dog in the woods. I heard a ‘creak’ sound that was so mysterious I couldn’t figure out where it came from. I stood there listening for a long time before realizing it was the tree making the noise. A friend later explained that it was due to the tree‘s uneven moisture levels, causing it to stretch itself. So I thought, what if the tree was actually just stretching? And thus, this story was born.
